Journals

Animation to show a way of story-telling through people’s personal journals/ notes. I researched different ways of journaling through personal entries people allowed me to view. The stories in the animation are based on the ones given to me, but altered to hide the authors identities. A person’s most honest and vulnerable thoughts are usual written on paper and never shared. While breaking down the barrier of someone’s journals, I create another barrier with the use of headphones. Each Character has headphones/ earbuds to represent the invisible wall the majority of people use. We naturally close ourselves off to our environments and disconnect from reality.
